FRACTIONS
Fractions are very closely related to division. This is because the denominator (the bottom number) in the fraction tells us how many pieces to share a shape, set or collection into. We have to share the shape, set or collection evenly (just like when we divide a number by another number)!

though, that the bigger the denominator, the more pieces
the set or shape has been shared into. They will be smaller
pieces.
